Francesca Jandasek

Francesca Jandasek is an authorized GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® Pre-trainer and holds an MFA in Dance from CSULB.  She has had the great fortune to share her love of movement by teaching modern dance, ballet, tango, creative movement, yoga, Pilates, stretch, Yoga Trapeze®,  and GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® exercise to people of all ages, backgrounds, needs and abilities.

"Francesca is patient, kind and encouraging. I appreciated her attention to detail and focus on correct form. I was injured at the time and she picked just the right exercises that allowed me to advance, learn and heal–all at the same time."

Francesca's Story

Francesca’s desire to help others heal through movement stems from her own experiences.  A dancer and musician, Francesca’s multiple injuries and chronic pain from lordosis and scoliosis were getting in the way of her doing what she loved.

Francesca was first introduced to the GYROTONIC® method in 2006 and has found GYROTONIC® exercise to be an incredible tool for preventing or rehabilitating injuries, increasing efficiency of movement, balancing the body, and building flexibility and strength.  She can now pursue activities she loves with no pain and with greater ease, awareness, and joy.

She has studied with the creator of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, Juliu Horvath, as well as master trainers Justine Bernard, Tracy Monaco, and Michelle Silva at Elements Fitness and Wellness Center, Nathan Martin of Capital Gyrotonic, Sebastian Plattenberg, Sylvia Frosali, Mariarosa Gugliemi, Adrianna Thompson, Jackson Kellogg, Alicia Head, Christina Stroh, Valéria Mauriz, Gina Paolillo, Elizabeth Jackson, Abel Horvath, and Uwe Herbstreit.

Francesca has completed additional training on GYROTONIC® applications for Dancers, GYROTONIC® applications for Osteopathy, GYROTONIC® therapeutic applications for Osteoporosis, GYROTONIC® Applications for the Pelvic Girdle Trilogy Part 1, GYROTONIC® Applications for the Shoulder Girdle Trilogy Part 2, GYROTONER® specialized equipment, GYROTONIC® Level 2, Program 1, GYROKINESIS® Level 2 Beginner,  GYROKINESIS® Level 2, GYROKINESIS® Essentials, GYROTONIC® Pre and Post Natal Applications, GYROTONIC® Explorations into the Extremes, and the Jumping-Stretching Board and ARCHWAY(TM) specialized equipment.  Francesca taught GYROKINESIS® workshops to company members at Synetic Theater in Crystal City, to professional dancers in the Washington DC area and at Dance, Theater and Health Festivals Internationally.
